Took the birds 31 miles tonight as a strongish wind was on their side/behind and 15 miles would have been 12 minutes. At the momment we have 260 home but they are working their way back from Cornwall as they have overshot Plymouth!!!
Don't panic these are great pigeons in tip top condition so they will be here.
Up-date at 9pm

A well earned rest today with a nice fly out and a bath this morning for a few hours in for a bit of breky then out again tonight for a sharpe 45 minute fly then in for tea!
As of tonight at 7pm we had 391 birds in the loft so not a bad race in the end, the birds will be back on their routine tomorrow with the next Hot Spot race from Salisbury approx 112 miles on Monday weather permitting of course .

HOT SPOT 3 Blandford
The birds had a good 1 hour 10 minute fly this morning and it was a pleasure to watch them as they split up into half a dozen groups and just played in the beautiful blue morning sky so no need for a 15 mile trainer today as they probably flew 40+ miles this morning.
They are now in the loft fed and watered and will be race marked around 6pm then taken to the lib site tonight ready for an early lib tomorrow.
Once again there is £500 prize money plus pools and a TauRIS ETS nom for tomorrows race.
